The Custom On Demand section of MyCustomDrum.com is now up and running, with a variety of gear available.  Several demo kits, kits built for trade-shows, and kits built for studio use are now available.  Straight Line Stitch recorded their new album on the silver/blue wrapped kit, the puzzle kit got rave reviews at a regional festival, the rootbeer sparkle made an appearance at the Chicago Drum Show, the blue lacquer kit is the kit used in the boxcar shots in the 07/08 catalog…etc.  Many unique kits and snares to check out at demo pricing, go check it out!

Here’s a beautiful Satin Emerald Green setup, one of the first kits to ship in ‘08.  12 rack, 15 floor, 20 cannon, and a matching 14 snare. Beautiful satin finish contrasts great against the black hardware. Dig it:

New photobooth for the new year….

We finally installed a serious photo booth in Phattie Land, because 2008 is a serious year. Here’s the first round of pics, one of our local rental kits. 10″x6″, 12″x7″, 16″x14″, 24″x20″, and a 13″x8″ snare. All in our funky puzzle finish, each piece individually cut from sparkle wrap. Hurray for new photo booths:

Hello all, and welcome to the new Phattie Blog. We’ve moved to an easier to update format with a new resolution to update the blog as frequently as possible. Lots of new and exciting things are in the works for 2008!

Now, for a quick look back at ‘07, and some of the most unique projects we worked on:

RockaBilly Cocktail Kit…

Puzzle Kit…each piece was individually cut from different sheets of sparkle wrap…

The glowing, triggered strobe acrylic kit… 

8-Bit Tribute Kit….Mario would have rocked this hard!

Transparent Kandy Racing-Stripe Kit…natural maple never made such an impact…
